Wompatuck State Park Hingham MA

Pete and I rode the great trails at Wompy today. The trails were more dry today than last week. Same wx, hot and muggy. We were confused again once we got stuck in the campground after we descended Prospect Hill.

This photo above, to some may look like a campground road map, but to us, it's a sign of evil and confusion. Still worth the evil to get to some nice fast single track.

ICU a series

What can you remember from ICU?

The other patients?

Your eye's being taped shut?

What was the first things you heard?

Wompatuck! MA

Can't explain how awesome today's ride was. All that riding in Rockland and in Quincy since March has payed off big time! The wx was hot, no breeze and sunny.

Pete and I rode from HQ to "the field" and back.

The bugs in Wompy are insane. Even with two applications of DEET still 'hosted' meals for bugs. One Flat. Other than the flat, the bikes worked great.

Nut Island Quincy MA

With our favorite trails turning into bike computer soup, and a schedule issue, Pete and I rode today, on a Sunday. Being one day close to a work day, we made it a light ride. Pavemental. rode from Merrymount Park in Quincy, to Nut Island in Quincy. Then back to Merrymount for some fast rooty single track. Wx started comfortable, cloudy, breezy, but as the day continued it started to get very hot. Glad we called the ride when we did. Bikes are in great shape. Fun ride, looking forward for the Rockland / Hanover trails to dry out a bit in a few weeks.
