Today we hiked the blue hills again. Amy and I hiked for about 2 hours. The wx was great. Nice fall day, with a light breeze and partly sunny. We started at the Shea Rink Parking area. Took the blue / green trail over Wompatuck Road then onto Sawcut Notch Path. Hiking on most of Sawcut we switched onto a path that lead to the pipe line. We noticed a cool building that was a kind of natural gas sub station. Again cool! We tried to stay on the gas pipe line path, but that was too flooded. So we back tracked to Sawcut, then left at 4091, then on to green path heading towards 4090. We then took Fox Hill Path to the top of Fox hill. This was nice, and this is where I pinged out my APRS location. We backtracked down back to the green path (4120, 4135, 4155 ...) and followed that back to Shea Rink. While hiking today i noticed two 4 digit markers that were not on my blue hills map. Time to get an updated map. This one is getting rather ratty anyways.
